I wish I knew where exactly I packed my camera when I packed up my apartment. All of my shoes and both my camcorder and regular camera are in storage. This is making things difficult for me because for the life of me I cannot rack my brain on what box I put most of my stuff in. I have all of this free time now during the day while I am taking calls and I practically have all this secluded yard to myself. Our nearest neighbors cannot see onto the property so this makes for a really ideal place to be shooting pictures or videos. I mean I can only express it as when I am here, I can feel it in my bones that NY is my home no matter who I’m with. I always felt detached from myself and my experiences when I was in NH. And let me tell you, I am so glad that I have left all of NH and the bad experiences behind me. There are people that I am thankful to be hundreds of miles away from and am ecstatic that I will never have to see them face to face ever again.

Yes, yes I graced the beaches of Long Island this weekend in a bathing suit as promised. I did also wear a coverup for most of the day because well I just didn’t want to get over all sun-burn. I did get lots of color though, and that’s a good thing as far as I’m concerned. We had a fantastic time and Long Island really could not have been more beautiful. It brings back such good memories of when I was a kid and I would go out to Gilgo Beach(that’s where we went this weekend too) and Montauk in the summer. Long Island really does hold a lot of childhood memories and as much as the sand of the beach can be annoying, I truly love being near the water.
There is something so intoxicating about the scent of that salty air that you can only experience at the beach. The day was perfect, with a delicious breeze and lots of delicious food. I loved getting wet in the water which was soo refreshing. I’m craving the beach again and want to head out to Jones or Robert Moses with my girls. That would be great. I guess the only thing that sucks about that is that most of them are married and have kids so it’s not like I can have just a girls getaway. Oh well, I can dream.
I’m working well, actually waiting on a new Valet wireless hotspot so we can get the wireless internet working in the house since my cell phone company actually decided to cancel my internet service. So hopefully by tomorrow I’m up and running and that everyone of us in the house can enjoy the wireless since we have more than one laptop and we have the Wii which would be great if we can hook that up too. This summer has been great so far. I have been swimming a lot and also been shedding some pounds so that has been making me feel great. Can’t wait till Saturday and then I have all day Sunday to myself to recover from any hangover I might experience haha.

So I typed in the URL of my blog one day and I discovered that my account had been suspended. Whoops! With all of the moving and settling in I completely forgot to change my email on my hosting account and I was way overdue and I didn’t even know about it. Finally I got things straightened out and all is back up and running.
